I attend school regularly. Regularly enough to realize school produces completely incompetent, useless, mindless, egotistical, arrogant idiots.
Why? I don't know how school used to be before 2000 but I suspect schools back then were better than schools now. No one can think for themselves and this isn't a surprise taking into consideration the way schools educate students. Take math, for example, the modern way only teaches you to apply concepts, this is an ineffective way of teaching as one should understand the concept itself before applying it. This way of "learning" is shallow and will not give a complete understanding. The core idea will always give you an upper hand in excelling because it enables you to understand things more deeply. Understanding things deeply is essential to be competent at anything. The problem is no one bothers to understand things properly because they are arrogant and think they know it all. Not being able to think for yourself is only one of the issues school creates. There are many other individual problems but this problem leads to most problems school creates. The entire idea of school is to teach students things necessary to manage in society. The idea of school is good, and the execution was also alright but school at this stage is unmanageable. This is why society is failing, because of idiots that obey modern rules. Sadly I still have many years to go. |
School is meant to prepare you for work so it teaches you the skills that would make you a good worker and punishes you for learning skills that would make you a bad one. You complete the tasks the authority figure gives you without thinking about fundamentals, because if you think about the fundamentals instead of the tasks you are given you might come to the conclusion that the best course of action is something that is against the interests of the authority (e.g. breaking away and starting your own company). I do think that the school system systematically punishes students for thinking about fundamentals. For example, they overwhelm students with a bunch of formulas they have to memorize, and a bunch of obscure problems they have to memorize the "trick" for in order to get the problem right on the exam, so that if they spend time thinking about the fundamentals and derivations they won't have enough time to memorize all the formulas and they will fail the class. I was a C/D student in my first 1.5 years of college but eventually I learned to suck it up and memorize the formulas.

You can still do "well" in school by approaching learning from fundamentals. In fact, it's much easier like this, You'll excel because everything will make sense to you. As for the things you don't understand you can easily figure it out because you understand the core idea.

School doesn't produce idiots. Idiots are born.
The schools that idiots attend are governed by other idiots. There's no surprise there. When there's no evolutionary pressure, nature (i.e. God) produces idiots. There's no surprise there. |

Actually there is negative evolutionary pressure, modern culture is dysgenic. So what do you think of my Arkian idea as a solution? |
Arkianism will die when you die because you have said before that in order for an idea to survive you must attribute it to God. Since you do not attribute Arkianism to God, Arkianism will die off when you die, just like the racist ideology of Nueva Germania died off once its founders died.
I do think it is a good idea though for there to be a meeting place for intelligent religious people. Arkianism may make things better this way, at least for a generation. But I don't see the children of Arkians taking it seriously. I base this on what I have seen in the Baha'i community. The Baha'i Faith has lasted 200 years but in 2005 the Baha'i administration took God out of the Children's books in order to broaden their appeal to non-religious people (they wanted to make it easier for Baha'i children to invite their secular friends), and within a generation the youth stopped taking the religion seriously and now at gatherings you do not see youth anymore, even though there were youth in gatherings in the early 2000s. Will fear of God motivate a child to stay Arkian? If not then I have trouble seeing how Arkianism will last. But like I said before, I don't think this is reason to discontinue Arkianism. |

Okay then I will attribute it to God. I have a 5 hour drive tomorrow which should be enough time to figure out how.

In the context of Islam, there is a basic conflict. Tying Arkianism to religion now would make it much harder to get it into mosques. So this has to wait until it has traction. Once it has traction, I will know which religion works and then I can tie Arkianism to that religion to make it stick.
|
You are probably right, since there is short term benefit in Arkianism, the immediate issue of getting the idea into mosques is probably more important. Think about the long term after you see there is interest in Arkianism.

I think it's good insofar as it's your honest, instinctive effort to try to build a community. It's in your genes. On the other hand, us neurodiverse people tend to be rather individualistic, most of us are natural leaders. It probably comes from the ancient (possibly Neanderthal) roots, when people hunted in pairs, one man and one woman. Even on this forum there are only a handful of people; even if most of them are not sock puppets, it's still far from being a force. So I don't see a great chance of being able to build that community, cause the kind of people that could respond to it are already sucked into and fooled by gigantic manipulation schemes, and the rest, those couple of nonmorons all have their own dreams waiting to be fulfilled, with them being the protagonist. No matter how honest, moral and pure our views are, there are very few people left that can even understand that there is a problem. There also seems to be a correlation to people of certain ethnicities (usually European and East Asian) that have a higher chance to be honest, pure and moral, and they tend not to be into Abrahamic religions, having their own personal interpretations of these things. |

When you say "modern rules" do you mean the rules of liberalism and feminism?

No, liberalism and feminism are a different issue. I used modern rules in the context of the school system, I explained this in the post.

You don't think feminism affects education?

I live in the UK, as far as I've experienced, feminism hasn't taken a toll on education yet.

May I know how old you are and whether you have heard of Will Knowland?

I am 16 years old, I heard about him before but I didn’t look into it properly. From what I can see, he seems to be reasonable.
|
While Knowland makes reasonable points, he is intellectually and politically crippled by his antisemitism and Islamophobia.
