I recently watched the Neuralink demo where they were able to light up a "pixel" in a monkey's vision, using a chip implanted in its brain. If you don't believe here is the video, around the 1:44:00 mark:

If an invasive chip like this gives can give people such a close connection with computers, then people who don't get the invasive procedure to get this implanted will be at a disadvantage. And eventually everyone will be forced to get one, because life will be too difficult without it. Remember smart phones, and before that cars. People used to get by without these things, but then society adapted in such a way that now they are required.
Another thing I am worried about is artificial wombs:

Every human invention related to reproduction seems to just make things worse, and I haven't speculated on exactly what would happen, but I think artificial wombs may be an existential threat, because of the degree that it deviates from the natural order of things.
Is it time to say "enough is enough" and that the technological-industrial society should be dismantled for good?
