After our talk last week I think identity is more important to me than I previously realized. My thinking is that morality can only come from identity. If a person's identity is their source of morality then they can't maintain their identity based on a facade. If the identity they're born into isn't moral then their only option is to convert. I think people are remarkably flexible in being able to convert but I do not know of any cases where people are in between two identities.

Here are examples of people whom obviously have converted. These are extreme examples. I'm showing them to point out that you can convert. I'm also showing them because I'm arguing that you can't be inbetween.
