Why climate change is stupid

Obviously the climate changes over time, but here I am referring to the World Economic Forum version of climate change, which leads to the predictable conclusion that we need to become slaves of the World Economic Forum.

In order to buy into this, you would need to accept the truth of a number of propositions. If any proposition in the chain is false, the conclusion fails. These propositions are something like as follows:

1. The world is getting warmer.
2. This warming is largely or entirely caused by the release of carbon that would otherwise be sequestered underground as a result of human activity.
3. The effect of this is highly net negative.
4. We can do something about this.
5. The cost to benefit ratio of doing something about it is highly on the benefit side.
6. There is no other way to achieve this other than to be slaves of the WEF.
7. If we do become slaves of the WEF we'll be fine, other than being slaves of the WEF.

Even if you argue that none of these propositions is individually ridiculous on its face, if you assign reasonable probabilities to all of them and multiply them together and come up with a probabilistic figure for them all being true, you'll conclude that this conclusion is so unlikely as to essentially be impossible.
