I program every day.  You cannot do non-mainstream stuff without programming.  AI and other non-code tools just let you create mainstream stuff which also tends to be unreliable.

This guy is basically failed modern scum.  He desperately wants to succeed as modern scum, but can't.  When the dollar finally collapses, these people will starve.  Then real skills will have value again.  Of course marketing is a skill that will always have value and doesn't require one to become a popular clown.
