Read old books

For most of history, literacy was a prized, rare skill. When people wrote, there was a certain standard that was maintained.

After being inundated with modern garbage for so long, it is almost therapeutic to read old writings. By old, I mean written before around WW2.

I sometimes confine myself to my room and do nothing but read old books for the whole day. It doesn't really matter the language or the topic of the book. I recommend everyone try it.
