A couple of months ago Vivek was seen as an unlikely VP pick. I myself thought Tim Scott would be more likely than Vivek, because he is more like Mike Pence, he is just a generic Republican, likeable to Republicans but not charismatic, not a threat to Trump's power. However, recently the sentiment is that Vivek is becoming more likely as a VP candidate. Trump said a few days ago that Vivek is on his short list for VP, when previously he has not said this. This to me is a sign that Vivek is doing some manipulation of Trump that may be working.
Now if Vivek does get appointed VP they will go on to win the election, and I think Vivek will act to maximize his power so he will have Trump assassinated, and end up becoming the dictator of America.
