OpenAI and ChatGPT

Since there's a lot of conversation on software recently I am wondering what your opinions are regarding OpenAI and ChatGPT. Have you used it yet? It came out of San Francisco one of the evilest places on the planet. Elon Musk was a former investor in it and he wants to develop an alternative to top it.

Yes I have used it and I plan to use it through its API in a business.

While useful for business, I think ChatGPT will be harmful to humanity, so it makes sense that came out of San Francisco.
