One thing that separates me from my younger cousins is that from a fairly young age (maybe 11 or 12 or so) I was interested in the conversations the adults were having, whether they are discussions about religion, politics or humorous discussions. My younger cousins though are just not interested in what the adults are discussing, even though they are as old as 15. It is like mentally they are remaining children. It pains me to see my own blood in this state.
