Markdown sucks, of course. It is modern crap designed by modern scum. To see how truly horrible it is, read
the spec. BBCode is much better. So of course all the modern scum choose Markdown instead of BBCode. Also see

Unfortunately OpenAI outputs Markdown. I need to translate this into HTML. If anyone knows of a good tool to do this, please let me know. I will also look. If I give up, I will write my own Markdown parser.
