If we get superhuman AI that can do anything, it should be able to genetically engineer a girlfriend for me, according to my specifications, and genetically engineer its mind to be attracted to me. I would gladly let AI take my job for this. It's just a matter of having AI under control.
And even if AI goes out of control, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be a bad thing. It extracts resources more efficiently than humans, meaning there is more total wealth to go around (I mean wealth in a more general sense than the conventional definition). Humans can benefit from the AI in the same way that the rats of New York City benefit from the human population there.
