Note that I use them in an unusual way in that I remove the earplugs and reverse them so that they cause a real seal in my ears. The result is a pure and well isolated sound. Of course modern digital recording technology is a disgrace to music, but that is another issue. These headphones at least do play back whatever has been recorded in a quality way and at a reasonable price.
