There had been some debates to say that why Elijah courageously confronts Ahab but flees from Jezebel's death threats, I remember a christian preacher, in a humorous explanation says: "that is because Ahab is a man, Jezebel is a woman."
That might be more truthful than what most people think. Ahab can be reasoned with, Jezebel cannot. What do you guys think?
