Companies of Pure Evil

These companies are purely evil:

Google
Twitter
Apple
Amazon
Facebook
Reddit

I will make a commitment to find alternatives to the services of these companies that I use, one service per week, until I am free of this evil.  I will post to this thread about each service I find.

I have already found an alternative to Reddit which is SaidIt.  I also recently found an alternative to Amazon Music which is Spotify.

Would you include Wikipedia in that list?

Back then,  I heard of "Encyclosphere" to replace it, but It still seems to be offline.

Wikipedia reflects mainstream bias which I don't care for, but Wikipedia is not evil.  Wikipedia doesn't try to silence other services.

Of course the best one can find now are neutral services.  Goodness is now basically extinct in this depraved time.

Spotify borders on evil. They are buying up podcasts and removing them from the open podcast/RSS framework and locking users into a proprietary platform.

Google alternatives:
- DuckDuckGo is great. Better than Google search since it's unfiltered. DDG uses both Google and Bing APIs and gives only the real results -- no manipulated results like Google.
- Fastmail is awesome. It provides all the features of Gmail with no ads and no scanning of my content for marketing purposes. I pay I think $3 per month on a multi-year basis. The only thing I noticed when moving from Gmail years ago is that the spam filtering is a bit more aggressive with more false positives than Gmail.
- Newpipe is a great Android app for YouTube videos without informing Google of who is watching what. It also has a download feature.

They are near monopolies or corrupt cartels.

It is said that power corrupts and absolutely power corrupts absolutely.

No it's not. It's like flat Earth, mainstream brainwash B to fall for. If you look up, all search engines have or recently had relations with Soros & Co. Even Yandex.

Franklin, thanks for recommending this forum to me.

Just one question: why is Microsoft not listed? Gates and Zuckerberg are very similar people, and both basically built their empires through intellectual theft.

I worked on Wall Street where the general view is that greed is good (like in the movie).  But the irony is that compared to Silicon Valley, Wall Street is much better.  Wall Street focuses on maximizing profit.  Silicon Valley focuses on maximizing evil, even at the expense of profit.  In this sense, Bill Gates is closer to Wall Street than to Silicon Valley.

I shall certain remember your profound and clarifying statement of the Fourth Estate which has now become the First Estate.

The Fourth Estate is media in all its forms with social media platforms the most powerful.

The First Estate was traditionally the priesthood whose church has now failed together with its ideology of Christo-Liberalism.

How did the Fourth Estate become the First Estate? Because the First Estate has rotted away.
