It is a requirement to attend a good religious service once a year. A good religious service is one that worships the god of the Old Testament and that separates the sexes in service.
If we ever grow enough to have our own physical service, then we can meet this requirement ourselves. Until then, we should find a good religious service near where we live. The rest of this post assumes this.
I will now give the reasons for this requirement.
Mikraite is not a mature religion. It is still in formation and requires the wisdom of its members to develop. This means that the members should understand religion generally. The best source of understanding is direct experience. Therefore members should have as much direct experience with other religions as possible in order to maximize their understanding of religion.
Everyone's identity is a product of their experience. No one's identity is pure X, whatever X is. Our identity is always a mix of many influences. Unfortunately the largest influence on most of our lives is modern culture. So to whatever degree we can be exposed to other contrary influences, this is a good thing. The best ways to do this are through travel and through religion. A religion that separates the sexes in service is clearly a contrary influence to modern culture and is therefore a good influence.
As Mikraites and men, we can counteract the influence of modern culture with our intellect. But this is not possible for women and children. Therefore it is essential to find alternative influences for our wives and children. So this requirement forces us to research this as a group, and then those members that have families can use the result of this research for themselves.
