As you know I have an interest in graphics and rendering. I am going to get more familiar with Unreal Engine.
I also plan to get more into AI, machine learning and computer vision. Created a list of books to get and work through in that area
My other interest is in mechatronics/robot building. I like to work on the arduino and build simple circuits. Unfortunately I need to learn raspberry pi and ROS, which is immensely complex, to build modern robots
If you have interest in a field, develop it outside of work in your spare time. If you don’t have anything to do, think of your own projects
