Are the Houthis on to something?

if a backwards rebel group in Yemen is capable to beating the US time and time again, and if they can fire a missile into Israel and defeat the most advanced American missile interceptors, then either they are on to something great or America has declined beyond salvation.  

They are onto something by having nothing to lose.
