Mass society makes everyone anonymous. You go to school and college where you are educated by complete strangers, and then you graduate and go to work for complete strangers. And then for dating the normie masses use dating apps to put them in contact with complete strangers.
A big issue with this is that with this perpetual anonymity, you have to rely solely on first impressions in order to impress people. The person interviewing for a job hardly knows anything about you except how charismatic you are. The woman swiping on a dating app doesn't know anything about you except how good looking you are.
If in spite of your lack of charisma, you managed to be an effective leader at your last work place through ingenuity, the interviewer has no way of witnessing this. And if you are someone who makes up for his subpar looks through social status in your religious community, the woman swiping on your profile pictures is not able to tell this.
The perpetual anonymity makes things you built up worthless. All that matters is first impressions.
