Amazon has become unusable

I could tell the story of my problems with Amazon, but that is really pointless.  All stories about dealing with businesses of modern scum are basically the same, just complete incompetence.  Amazon's website is increasingly unusable and their support has become unresponsive.  Right now I will look for an alternative for getting books.  I will replace other Amazon categories as the need arises.

They're Japanese, not modern scum.  Their selection is good enough.  But their app won't work on my Amazon Fire, so now I have to find a tablet.  Ugh.

I will get a basic iPad for $329.  I bought the Amazon Fire in 2019 because other tablets were much more expensive.  Now the iPad is affordable.  The other tablets just look like garbage.
