I went to a night prayer session and socialized with some of the men in the Masjid. In a lengthy conversation with a second generation Pakistani American I asked him what’s Pakistan like, he told me the following:
1. Pakistan is surprisingly similar to America
2. Even some of the suburbs look the same
3. People do modern things, watch the same TV shows, etc
4. The people have similar hobbies and talk about similar things as Americans
So he gave me the impression Pakistan is a westernized country...
