Back in 2019 I remember asking a Columbia University electrical engineering student how much his classmates made upon graduation and he told me they would get jobs in NYC paying 80-90k. So I am astonished that a young "UX writer" is not thankful for an 85k salary.

Anyway, this is a perfect example of the type of job ChatGPT will replace. Is there a way to profit from the transition? Also, with all these people (mostly women) who are about to get laid off, does this mean women are going to become reliant on men again for income?

Another possibility is they won't get laid off because they are not being hired for the work they do, but they are hired because some incels in the company want to have young women around in the workplace, to increase their odds of meeting a suitable wife, or maybe they are not incels and just enjoy the ambiance young women add to the workplace, so they lobby for young women to get hired, and no one cares if the work they do is bullshit, since their very presence is what adds value to the company. When my group almost hired a young woman, I admit the idea excited me, because I otherwise had no contacts who were young women.
